February 26, 2003 - I am becoming frustrated with the water pressure I get out of my shower head in the morning. A few months ago Steve bought a 'water saving' shower head with a massage function. The water spread is poor compared to the old head that we had. When it is cold in the shower in the morning because I have the heat in the house kick on at 7 AM and I am in the shower at 7:20 it makes for a pretty cold shower, even with steamy water. I went to work. My boss was gone today on a business trip so I was in charge of the department. This sounds like a privilege but really it just means I won't get to work on any of my projects because the entire day was spent answering problems that come in via email or sales reps who have issues that need fixing. For lunch I tried the cheese bread with pizza sauce from Penn Station in hopes that it would satisfy my needs that I had, and possibly be a permanent replacement for the more expensive Philly cheese steak. Unfortunately it just wasn't what I was looking for. I worked until 5:30 today to get some extra stuff done and I still think I got some looks for leaving 'early'. Some of those people just are always at work. After work I did some instant messaging and phone talking and then cooked some spaghetti. This is clearly one of my more productive evenings.
