February 21, 2003 - Friday at work was so slow. I was greatly looking forward to tonite because I was going to meet Teresa for the first time. She has all the makings of a great girl. When she showed up promptly on time I was pleasantly surprised. I drove her up to Vincenzo's in the Tri-County area. Dinner was great. Conversation was a little stale but it is hard to get things going right away with someone you have never met before. After dinner Kavia came over, Josh came home, Steve was in and out with a bunch of UC Band people, Josh's girl Suzanna came over with her friend Ivanna, and then finally at 12:15 Kavia's boyfriend Chris (my cousin) came over. At this point we had watched Airborne, a great movie that involves Cincinnati. We drove in the rain up to Fries Cafe which was just around the corner. There was this super freaky guy that was in a odd state. Usually when someone is drinking excessively they transition smoothly from being trashed to either passed out or throwing up. This guy was in some odd state where he was walking around more or less unconscious and kept getting really close to people but didn't say anything, he just had his mouth open like he might lose everything at any time. It was extremely freaky. After the bar closed we all went back to my place and after a while Kavia and Chris left. This left Suzanna and Josh making out on the same couch as Ivanna, and Teresa and I on the other couch, with her sleeping on me. Ivanna got a little weirded out so she went into the kitchen. As Josh and Suzanna got offensively noisy I woke up Teresa and we went into the kitchen too. After a while Josh and Suzanna finished 'saying goodbye' and Suzanna left with Ivanna. I think Josh should have had more respect for Ivanna and not let her get in a situation where she was the only 'single' person in the room but that's his call. After a while Teresa headed home. It was a great night.
