February 20, 2003 - I left work a little bit early so that I could get home and gather up my stuff for the gig. At 5:30 I met up with Brian Hauk and Sam Schutte at the UC Child Care Center. By 6:30 we had everything set up and were ready to play. I was the 'soloist' and we played a quick but effective half hour dinner set. After the gig I ran to Kroger to cash the check because it was one check and I wanted to pay the boys. I then met Brian and Sam at Don Pablo's in Norwood. There was a pretty long wait for dinner but I didn't mind. I was skipping Southwest Ohio Symphonic band but it was ok because I had a paying gig. Gigs always trump practices. It was good getting to talk to Brian and Sam, we don't hang out too much outside of Fisher Effect. From dinner I went home.
